The Netherlands Pharmacovigilance Centre Lareb collects and analyses reports of adverse reactions of medicines and vaccines. Healthcare professionals, patients and also manufacturers can report an adverse reaction. Our central collection point, the database, is important to collect all adverse reactions to guard the safety of medicines and vaccines in the Netherlands. Lareb also sends anonymous copies of the reports to the European Medicines Agency and the World Health Organization. Thus we help in monitoring the global drug safety.
